Zanu PF UK & EU Chairman’s Christmas Message

Dear Comrades

Revolutionary Greetings

I think we can all agree this has been an incredibly challenging year – a year which saw the pandemic almost stall all our plans and go on to cause so much disruption in our party activities, pain and suffering across this country and around the world.

Christmas Day is, first and foremost, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a day of inestimable importance to billions of Christians the world over. Please, let’s celebrate this Christmas in unity, compassion, love and thanksgiving.

On behalf of the whole Zanu PF UK/EU District, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you, our amazing members and leaders who have worked tirelessly this year to promote mobilisation and growth of our party in the Diaspora. Besides the pandemic, this year we successfully managed to extend and expand our footprint in Russia and the Republic of Ireland by launching branches in the respective countries. My heartfelt thanks also go to all the Comrades who sacrificed and contributed towards the Covid-19 Fundraising donation of PPEs to Zimbabwe. Well done to you all.

Comrades despite the challenging year, I want to express my gratitude to the leadership of our President Cde ED Mnangagwa for delivering successful political and economic reforms in our beloved country Zimbabwe. In the last two years, we have witnessed a full commitment to inclusive, accountable governance and a healthy, engaged citizenry drive, social, political, and economic development with equal opportunity being at the centre of it all.

We also want to applaud the on ongoing restructuring of the party currently taking place back home and the fiercely contested DCC Elections which in indeed have helped to strengthen our party and deepen its democratic values at the grassroots level. As for us in the Diaspora, we wait patiently for the signal to commence our restructuring from HQ.

Comrades- Thank you again for being amazing in the face of adversity, for keeping your loved ones safe, and for having faith this pandemic will one day be over. We would be in a much darker place without you and your support.

It only remains for me to wish you a lovely Christmas, a Happy New Year, and a healthy start to 2021 – you’ve earned it.

Thank You
May God Bless You, Your Family and Zimbabwe

With regards
Cde Marshall Gore
